Going on safari is a bit like online dating! 

You see a lot of amazing (and probably filtered) pictures of the ever so desirables, and your expectations for the 'real thing' skyrocket.
The game drives are like dates: you dress to the nines (in khaki shorts and wide brimmed hat), bring your most impressive gadgets (that new mirrorless camera with a lense the size of a submarine) and are fully prepared to impress your date (the safari guide or other people on the jeep) with your knowledge and wit.

But once the conversations get going, you realise you don't really know your impala from the springbuck, aren't too sure if that spotted cat is leopard or a cheetah and anyways, why do all these birds look basically the same?
